International Marine Management is very happy to announce that, starting this season, it will expand its operations to include a base in Caribbean superyacht hub St Maarten.

Located in IGY’s Isle de Sol Marina, IMM will be able to provide full technical assistance to yachts throughout the island, as well as those on neighbouring islands such as St Barths and St Kitts and Nevis.

Adding to its existing facilities in Guadeloupe and Martinique, where IMM is able to haul out vessels of 130+ meters, the St Maarten location will reinforce the company’s ability to serve yachting clients throughout the Caribbean. IMM will introduce logistics services in St Maarten, including yachting protection and thermoplastic covering, which will permit its client base of superyachts to undertake more significant technical works during the winter.

By using existing suppliers on the island, as well as in-house labor, IMM will be able to provide the full range of technical services. These include, but are not limited to, yacht-standard painting, hydraulics, teak decking, interior works, and everything in between.

With its three strategically located bases throughout the Caribbean, IMM is able to assist yachts to maximise their Caribbean down time, allowing them to reduce out-of-service time during yard periods. By checking items off of work lists during existing down time, the yacht’s schedule will be maximized to serve the owner.

The company’s Founder and Director, Fabrice Maitre, commented on the announcement: “We are very excited about this new phase in IMM’s development, and how it will increase our ability to serve our client base throughout the Caribbean. St Maarten is a natural hub for superyachts between their charters and owner trips, so we can assist yachts very efficiently here – whether it is to plan haul-outs in Guadeloupe and Martinique, or to carry out in-water refit and maintenance in St Maarten or neighbouring islands.”
