Old San Juan is truly a delightful experience for everyone – it is beautiful, artistic, creative, vibrant and, importantly, safe. With significant haul out facilities in the heart of the Caribbean, IMM Guadeloupe offers full-service refit and maintenance facilities only half a day away from the superyacht hubs of St Barths and St Maarten.

Guadeloupe is easily accessible from Europe, with daily flights from Paris. From the US, Guadeloupe can be reached on a daily basis. The IMM Guadeloupe base is only a 15-minute drive from the international Airport.

  • As a French territory, entry requirements are similar to those for EU countries, which means that most won’t need a visa if the stay doesn’t exceed 3 months.

The IMM St Maarten base makes it easy to plan repair and maintenance works around your busy guest schedule. The IMM office is conveniently located in the Isle de Sol marina, making it easy for you to reach us whenever you need technical support. Our highly experienced project managers are on-site and on-hand to coordinate jobs of all sizes in a timely and professional manner. Whether you require painters, deck-fitters or tender care, IMM has you covered.

IMM and its sister company, FKG, work closely together to provide exceptional results. FKG’s skilled team of over 45 technicians is renowned as the top specialists in rigging, hydraulics, and fabrication in the Caribbean. For all other technical areas, IMM is able to assist with its in-house team or via its strong network of local contractors.

  • Yacht protection and thermoplastic covering available
  • Any works available using FKG, other subcontractors, or IMM in-house labor (painting, composite/carbon, teak, marble, interior, electric, hydraulic, metalwork, refrigeration/HVAC, and anything else!)

With its unique mix of French and Dutch cultures, delicious cuisine, beautiful beaches and welcoming locals, St Maarten provides a delightful experience for any yacht crew. With its duty-free shopping and lively nightlife providing a great contrast to the peaceful bays and coves around the island, St. Maarten has something for everyone. Whether it be hiking, lounging at the beach, karaoke, water sports, fine dining, sky diving or a plethora of other options, crew will certainly have plenty to do in St Maarten.

  • Flights from Paris at least once per day, and 3 weekly flights from Amsterdam. From the US, access to St. Maarten is even easier, with regular flights from major cities.
  • Very easy transport of spare parts from both Europe and US, with special freight-only flights from the US allowing rapid transport of the largest items and hazardous goods.
  • Duty free island, allowing immediate delivery as well as significant cost savings (no duty means no broker fees either!)
  • Crew access is very easy, even for those generally requiring visas
  • Once on the island, its size makes it easy for you to get around with a rental car. Everything is “Just over the hill”.
